This spring the Orlando housing market continues to demonstrate notable increases in home sales and prices. 

There was a staggering 33% increase in sales this March versus March of 2020. According to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association there were 4,268 homes sold last month, compared to the 3,204 sales last March. 

The overall median price has increased 12% over last year’s reporting. The median price of Orlando homes sold in October is $285,000, which have increased from $253,500 last March. 

One category of the Orlando housing market in particular saw a major increase in sales. Townhome sales saw a 10% increase in median price, but offered a staggering 56% increase in sales in March.

A strong sign of growth within our increasingly popular area, where we are seeing 1,000 plus new residents every single week. When it comes to growth, Orlando is in a category all it’s own.

• Overall inventory for single-family homes decreased 62% when compared to last year. 
• Single family home sales increased an impressive 26% this March, along with a 19% median price increase.
• Pending sales this March are up 32% compared to March of last year.
